A useful supplier comparison starts with the material, drawing, working area, part dimensions, coating specification and required delivery date. A company-name list is not evidence of suitability.
Ask about the actual scope
Confirm preparation, deposition, final finishing, inspection and handling of the component. Ask which tasks are performed at the quoted facility and which depend on external suppliers.
Review quality and delivery evidence
Check relevant current certificates where needed, inspection documentation, comparable component experience and the quotation assumptions. A supplier should not be called a global leader without clear selection criteria and evidence.
